Abstract

The purpose of this study is to construct the theory of the multi-role of women in Islam. This problem is analyzed through a qualitative study with the locus of Semarang City. Semarang is seen as a representation of the complex social life of the community in Central Java that can describe the situation of the metropolis and the dynamics of a strong urban society with all variants of family problems in it. The data sources are taken from the categories of: a) women working in the industrial sector; b) women who are filing for divorce; c) career women but having harmonious families; d) women who work as housewives. The research data was collected using interview, observation, and documentation methods, then analyzed interactively, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) conclusion drawing. The results showed that the final goal of the existence of multi-role women in Islam is the solid building of family resilience when husband and wife synergize to implement the joints of household resilience and strengthen the multi-role of women through theories of theological relations, effective communication, equality relations, honor relations, and the foundation of intercourse.

Keywords: Construction, Multi-Role Theory, Women in Islam, family resilience
Agus Suryo Suriptokhuriyah khuriyah

https://jurnalbimasislam.kemenag.go.id/jbi/article/view/1166

Differences of opinion in Islam ic teachings are a necessity, but differences in Muslims in the implementation of worship which have a very broad social impact and concern the interests of the nation and state, such as the fasting of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha are very urgent to be united. This research "Examining the Arguments of the Hisab and Rukyat Methods in the Perspective of Contextual Interpretation" aims to find the root of the problem which is the source of the difference between the reckoning and rukyat methods. This research method is qualitative-discritive with reference to library and journal data. This research produces and finds; that the two methods of reckoning argue on the verses of the Qur'an and as-Sunnah with a contextual interpretation approach, while the rukyat method argues on the verses of the Koran and hadith which are interpreted with a textual approach. Conclusion ; The Hisab method uses the arguments of the verses of the Qur'an and as-Sunnah with contextual interpretation methods with arguments, that Muslims at the time of the Prophet had not mastered science and astronomy, while Muslims now have mastered science, astronomy and astronomy. while the rukyat method uses the textual interpretation method, with the argument that the command to see the new moon (rukyatul hilal) is ta'abbudi (worship), then the arguments of the verses of the Koran and as-Sunnah cannot be interpreted contextually, but must be interpreted textually.
abdur rokhim arhan

https://jurnalbimasislam.kemenag.go.id/jbi/article/view/1116

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global and national commitment that aims to improve society's welfare, including 17 goals. One of them is gender equality, which is target number 5. The fifth goal in the 2030 SDGs concerns women aged 20-24 years who married before 18 years at 8.74%. Meanwhile, 10.53% of women aged 20-24 were married before 18 years in South Kalimantan province. This empirical fact shows that South Kalimantan Province still has to work hard to reduce the rate of child marriage. This is field research with data collection, namely observation, interviews, and documentaries. The research results show that a strategy to accelerate the reduction of child marriage is needed. The Anjir Pasar, Religious Affairs Office, implements several strategies to reduce the number of child marriages in achieving SDG 5 (gender equality), including collaboration with several parties in the Marriage Age Maturation (PUP) program, time-gaining strategies, skills training, providing rejection letters, education and outreach. Outreach to Islamic boarding schools can be one of the keys to suppressing child marriage, considering that the people of South Kalimantan are a religious community, obedient to the messages conveyed by Tuan Guru in their respective regions.
Devi Fitriani SariNur FalikhahRaden Yani Gusriani

https://jurnalbimasislam.kemenag.go.id/jbi/article/view/1279

Disputes and conflicts between spouses are common occurrences within a family. However, if not properly addressed, they can jeopardize family harmony and even lead to divorce. This study aims to explore the Qur'anic approach to resolving family conflicts. Through an analysis of Qur'anic verses, particularly QS.4, Annisa:34-35, this research highlights the concept of islah (reconciliation) as a comprehensive solution. Islah emphasizes a gradual resolution, starting from advice to mediation by a third party. Findings indicate that the Qur'anic approach provides a strong foundation for addressing family conflicts while maintaining the values and goals of marriage. The practical implication of this research underscores the importance of applying the islah approach in managing family conflicts to prevent divorce and preserve marital harmony. By understanding and implementing the principles contained in the Qur'an, married couples can confront differences constructively, strengthen their relationship, and prevent the escalation of conflicts that could damage the family. The findings of this research contribute to strengthening family values based on religious principles and provide guidance for family counseling practitioners and stakeholders involved in addressing marital conflicts.
Anwar Saadi

Islam and culture are two variables that cannot be separated. The interaction between the two results in acculturation or Islamization of local culture. This means that things that are substantial in a culture will be inserted with Islamic values, so that the animism-dynamism nuances in a local tradition will fade. One example of a culture that has undergone Islamization in Indonesia is the batuyang tradition. This research aims to find out the process of implementing the batuyang tradition by the Dayak Bakumpai community, Central Kalimantan. The main approach used in this research is Edmund Husserl's phenomenology, and data collection is carried out through observation, documentation, and interviews carried out from April to October 2022 on several samples selected by applying the purposive sampling method. The data obtained were analyzed using the descriptive-analytical method, with Ahmad Rafiq's Qur'anic reception theory as the basis for analysis. The results showed that there are Islamic values in the batuyang tradition. This is indicated by the recitation of salawat during the event and the recitation of fatihah ampat and congratulatory prayers at the end of the event. This procession reflects the flexibility of Islamic teachings in human life and its important role in the transformation of local culture.
Akhmad SupriadiMuhammadkhair AbdullahNor FaridatunnisaMuhammad Saiful KhairYuliani KhalfiahTuti Alawiyah

The problem of community disintegration is a challenge for pluralistic societies. The massive spread of the virus of radicalism and extremism among religious communities is a factor in the widespread phenomenon of community division. The virus has an impact on the birth of intolerant understanding patterns among people of diversity. So that people clash with each other in differences, even presenting actions to negate each other. Along with the development of digitalisation, the intolerance virus has spread in the realm of digital media. The doctrine of radicalism and extremism with the use of digital media is effective in reaching a wider community, especially the younger generation. Intolerant content indoctrinates digital media users into radical and extreme understanding in the life of diversity. The spread of divisive content wrapped in a convincing narrative makes it difficult for people to filter content on digital media. Thus, efforts to prevent the problem of disintegration of the ummah in 2024 require the transformation of religious moderation by utilising digital space. This article analyses using the library research method, by conducting a literature review of books, scientific articles, magazines, websites and others. This article aims to explore the concept of realising the transformation of digital-based religious moderation based on the Qur'an which offers a concept in an effort to filter the content of radicalism and extremism. Based on in-depth analysis, the concept of realising the transformation of religious moderation in 2024 can be done by; 1). Understanding the diversity inclusiveness paradigm; 2). Exploration of content validity; 3). Understanding universal communication ethics; 4). Pro moderate narrative; 5). Millennials as moderate ambassadors.
Ican MandalaDoli WitroJuraidi Juraidi

https://jurnalbimasislam.kemenag.go.id/jbi/article/view/1292

Gender equality does not mean that men and women must be equal in all respects. Each has its own function and duties. Efforts for gender equality are in the long debate between social conflict theory and functional structural theory. The differences between men and women still have various problems, especially regarding the role and substance of events in society, therefore efforts are needed to approach the historical empirical reality of women's conditions in society. This research aims to map the position of M. Quraish Shihab's thoughts on the issue of gender equality in Tafsir Al-Mishbah, between social conflict theory and functional structural theory. Where, the point of view can be said to be different from what has previously emerged, this difference is placed in a context that empowers the potential of each gender theory to function in a complementary or proper manner. The method used in this research is a qualitative method based on library research. The results of this research show that the positions of men and women complement each other. The difference between roles and functions is a functional relationship that is very complementary. In Tafsir Al-Mishbah it is more inclined towards functional structural theory, because even though in certain cases socio-culturally men have advantages and superiority over women, or conversely women dominate, as long as it is not intended to oppress, degrade, alienate, eliminate women's rights, but to protect and protect there is no hegemony and discrimination between men and women.
Nur RahmawatiAbdul Muid Nawawi

The development of internet technology and social media has had a great impact on various aspects of human life. Religious guidance or counseling is one of the fields affected by these developments. The internet and social media have become new vehicles for communication and transmission of religious messages. On the other hand, digital progress also poses various challenges, including the spread of fake news (hoaxes), misinformation, and religious disinformation. Digital advances have also been used by some parties to spread hate speech and narratives of religious extremism. The various negative uses of digital space demand an effective response from various parties, including the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Among the efforts needed to provide an effective response is the improvement of the digital competence of the Ministry of Religious Affairs apparatus, especially religious extension workers. The improvement of digital competence is needed so that religious extension workers can provide guidance and religious counseling effectively in the digital space. To provide a basis for the formulation of policies to improve digital competence, it is necessary to map the current condition of the digital competency level of religious extension workers. This article presents the results of mapping the level of competence or digital literacy of religious extension workers. The mapping is focused on answering the following questions: (1) How high is the level of digital literacy of religious extension workers? (2) What factors affect the variation in the level of digital literacy of religious extension workers? The study with a qualitative approach was carried out in 6 provinces in the work area of the Jakarta Religious Research and Development Institute, including North Sumatra, Bangka Belitung, Lampung, Banten, DKI Jakarta, and West Java, from March-April 2023. The quantitative approach is carried out through the dissemination of appointments in the form of Google Forms to religious extension workers, both civil servants and non-civil servants, in each province where the evaluation is located. The data analyzed was 7,547 responses. The mapping adopts the digital competency framework developed by the European Commission, namely The Digital Competence Framework for Citizens 2.1. The mapping results show that the digital literacy level of religious extension workers is included in the "medium" category, with the highest level of digital literacy found in West Java Province and the lowest in Bangka Belitung Province. The level of digital literacy is found in the dimension of knowledge, followed by attitudes, and skills. Higher levels of digital literacy are found among non-civil servant religious extension workers, as well as in younger age groups.
Rudy AlamMulyanaNur AliaNursalamah Siagiandaniel rabitha daniel rabitha
