Iman dalam Bingkai: Strategi Dakwah Visual dan Interaktif @quranreview Faith in Frames: Instagram Account @quranreview’s Visual and Interactive Da'wah Strategy
Main Article Content
Abstract
The rise of social media has transformed the landscape of Islamic preaching (dakwah), enabling wider outreach and interactive engagement with audiences. This study aims to analyze the digital dakwah strategies employed by the Instagram account @quranreview, particularly in utilizing visual and interactive elements to enhance audience engagement. Using a qualitative research method with a case study approach, data were collected through content analysis of Instagram posts, focusing on the use of slide carousels, visual aesthetics, and multimedia integration. The findings reveal that the use of slide carousel format facilitates structured content delivery, increasing audience retention and interaction. Visual strategies such as color selection, typography, and illustrations effectively capture audience attention, while the integration of text, audio, and video enhances the depth of religious messages. The study highlights that a multisensory approach in digital dakwah not only improves engagement but also strengthens the audience’s comprehension and retention of Islamic teachings. These results support the Audience Engagement Theory and Dual Coding Theory, demonstrating that combining textual, auditory, and visual elements leads to more effective religious communication on social media. This research contributes to the development of digital dakwah strategies by offering insights into the role of interactive content in improving the accessibility and impact of Islamic messages in the digital era. Future studies should explore long-term audience perception and compare different social media dakwah formats.
