Abstraksi
Tulisan ini mencoba menggambarkan perspektif ulama kontemporer mengenai “fî sabîlillâh†sebagai salah satu mustahiq zakat. Sebab kata “fî sabîlillâh†masih tampak global. Dari kajian terhadap beragam literature, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa ulama kontemporer mencoba memaknai kata fî sabîlillâh agar sesuai dengan konteks kekinian. Dengan pemaknaan tersebut, zakat diharapkan juga bisa disalurkan untuk aspek-aspek pengembangan pendidikan, peradaban, dan kebudayaan Islam.
Abstract
This paper is trying to describe the perspective of contemporary ulama about fî sabîlillâh as one of the mustahiq zakat. Because the word "fi sabilillah" still appears globally. From the study of a variety of literature, we concluded that contemporary ulama try to interpret the word fi sabilillah to fit in the present context. With these meanings, zakat is expected to be distributed into development aspects of education, civilization, and culture of Islam
