The calculation method of H. Abdurrani Mahmud is a classical calculation similar to the method developed by earlier scholars such as in the book of Durus Al-Falakiyah by Syekh Ma’shum Bin Ali (1887-1933). At present time there is some of the prayer timetable preparation system by using the latest astronomical data released by International observatories such as US Naval which publish The Nautical Almanac and Greenwich Observatory which publish The America Ephemeris. In all prayer time schedules along H. Abdurrani Mahmud time pattern determination date 5 (five) days such as date 1-5, 6-10, 11-15. 16-20 and so on. This is different from determining the date pattern held by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, which uses (three) days in the prayer schedules throughout its time (date 1-4-7-10-13-16-19-22-25-28-31).
