There are many waqf property assets which are not controlled nor managed well in our country caused by the absence of fund, is in desperate need of a solution. This paper tries to offer alternative fund sources for executing waqf lands with temporary cash waqf. Temporary Cash Waqf isn’t only allowed in the fiqh law but it’s also legal in the jurisprudence of Indonesia. Because it’s only temporary, this type of waqf is easier and more accepted by the waqif than it is for permanent waqf, thus temporary cash waqf can be a way to develop productive waqf in this country.
